McKenzie Beach is easily one of the most popular beaches in Larnaca because of its proximity to the Larnaca airport. The sandy beaches make it a great place for plane spotters and the calm shallow waters make it the ideal to enjoy making some sandcastles and play beach volleyball with children and friends.

Kastella Beach

Kastella Beach is a small beach compared to the rest but has easy access and the waters are shallow and calm. The beach has lifeguard services, toilets and changing rooms which makes it very family-friendly in Larnaca. This beach is also 15 minutes away from the centre of town.

Faros Beach

Faros Beach is located in the village of Pervolia and includes a host of facilities like toilets, showers and changing rooms along with sun-beds and a children’s playground with lifeguard services. Pick a spot where the crowds are scarce and enjoy a day of fun-filled activities without worrying about crowds or sanitisation.

Finikoudes Beach

Finikoudes Beach is named after the promenade flanked by palm trees. This 600 m long stretch is one of the most popular sights in the city and has many bars, hotels and cafes in Larnaca. The water here is shallow making it perfect for the kids to enjoy a dip in the water.

Yanathes Beach

The Yanathes Beach is along the 2km stretch by the Bay of Larnaca. Here, you can enjoy beach volleyball or a host of water sports activities including scuba diving, parasailing and banana boat rides. Lay back in the sun and work on the tan, or frolic in the clear waters with your little ones for some fun!
