Oroklini (Voroklini)

Oroklini (aka Voroklini) is located around 8 km (5 miles) northeast of Larnaca. Guests must take time to visit the ancient landmarks - the church of Archangel Michael which was built in the 17th century and the 16th century Church of Prophet Elijah. The sites are ideal for hiking, where one can soak in the magnificent views of the surroundings and the sea. Nestled around the village are Yiannades Beach and Oroklini Lake which are ideal for spending tranquil moments.

Add a visit to the beautiful and traditional Cypriot village of Pano Lefkara. Located around 40 km (25 miles) from Larnaca, the place is just perfect for any photography lover. The quaint little village offers excellent opportunities to meander around colourful streets with traditional houses. Plus, guests can spend time and learn how to make traditional products like halloumi and village bread. What's more - one can also enjoy an authentic meze lunch with wine testing.

Choirokoitia

Head to Choirokoitia for some peaceful activities. A day trip from Larnaca to the village is a treat. Take time to relax and enjoy delicious food. One can also visit a farm where traditional Cypriot halloumi cheese is produced and discover the remains of a medieval fortress.

Zygi

Yet another small village near Larnaca is Zygi which you must add to your bucket list. Kato Drys

Located near Larnaca is yet another idyllic village, Kato Drys (meaning 'lower oak' in Greek). The tiny mountainous village located around 36 km (22 miles) southwest of Larnaca has existed since the Byzantine period and is a wonderful spot to explore. What's more: it's popular for hosting one of the biggest music festivals of the summer - ‘Feggaros', which takes place annually in the village during July.

Tochni

Tochni village, located in the Larnaca region, is a picturesque site. An idyllic destination for agrotourism, the village is home to stunning sights, including charming village houses. Guests can explore the surroundings by bike and rent a bike from the various bike centres in the village.
