Larnaca Fort - Larnaca Medieval Museum ( Wikipedia )
The Larnaca Fort stands at the south end of 'Phoinikoudes' Corniche and was built around 14th century during the reign of James I. Erected in the shape of a square tower, it was rebuilt during the Ottoman rule. During the British era, it was used as a prison. The upper floor of the fort contains a small medieval museum and its courtyard is sometimes used for cultural events.

This museum exhibits artefacts and remains from Neolithic settlements of Choirokitia and Tenta, when Larnaca was known as Kition to the Roman Era. The artefacts include sculptures, pottery and vase collections and some glass and clay ornaments from Roman times. The museum is linked with the Aphrodite Cultural Route.

The Museum of Traditional Embroidery & Silversmith-work is located in the village of Lefkara, which is about 25 miles from Larnaca. It is built in the House of Patsalos, which is made entirely from white limestone.
